But it doesnt always happen does it?

Have we not beaten teams of bus parkers this season?

So many teams have that problem, not just us. City drew with palace, only got 1 vs Newcastle. In fact all teams around us and above us have had similar problems, drawing against teams they "should" beat.
Last season, we were really good against the bottom 10. Wembley clearly is a factor this season.

It's a squad that did challenge for the title last season. We lost Walker and Janssen. We gained Aurier, Sanchez, Llorente. It isn't because of the squad we'll miss top 4, if we do.

It is though - your argument only makes sense if you ignore the teams around us strengthening significantly. It is also a lot to do with the Wembley factor and that we don't really have a home ground this season. Poch has made some errors but this was always going to be a really tough season for us. If we can end up in top 4 that would be fantastic and it's still possible.

we's not exactly setting the world a light out on loan is he? And he's hardly "World class"
didnt say he's world class, just said he's a top cm prospect and he has been since he was 16. i think he's done well on loan given the type of turgid football villa play and the fact he's been played out of position.

I fully believe in Josh's ability, but I cant gurantee he would have changed last night's result. But at least he has the potential to become a high performer and as a supporter I can accept the risk-reward. Playing Sissoko their is no reward, he is what he is.

Seeing the never ending childish spat between Conte and Maureen, I really feel that we have the classiest manager. never want anyone like those two no matter how successful he is.

  • Pochettino responds to real links as Tottenham seek replacement

During an interview with radio station Onda Cero, Pochettino didn’t exactly rule himself out of the running for the job but did admit he is more than happy where he is, for now.

He said: “I’m happy where I am just now. Football will take me where I want to go. Jorge Griffa, who is like a father to me, once told me to not think too much, enjoy the present, be professional and responsible, and football will take you where you want.

Pochettino’s comments are significant given that Gazetta dello Sport claims Spurs have contacted Carlo Ancelotti’s agent to discuss the possibility of the Italian becoming their new manager if Pochettino leaves.

Ancelotti has been out of work since being sacked by Bayern Munich in September but enjoyed tremendous success in the Premier League at Chelsea, where he guided the Blues to a league and FA Cup double in 2010.

Wish people would stop posting these absolutely fucking pointless click bait articles, you wonder why the press regurgitate this bollocks about our players and manager leaving Spurs, it's because you keep sharing it thus generating more clicks for them.

I love, I trust he genuinely loves the club and whats to stay but turning down Madrid would be a massive thing for him to do... if they were interested.

Don't even give it the credit of being acknowledged. It's a clickbait crock of shit article that has no business being posted.

Harry and Eriksen state that they're content, so the press need to find a new angle to dismantle what we're doing.

I've no doubt that Real will be looking in Poch's direction, but as things currently stand I cant imagine him working well with all the ego's at Madrid.

Don't think he'll be in the running unless we get to the CL final, or finish 2nd and win FA Cup.

Maybe that's wishful thinking though.

I think we have more to fear from man Utd than Real Madrid. When United get sick of the Me, Myself & Maureen show they'll want to replace with someone with some class and likeability. Poch is really making a very good name for himself in the EPL.
