Another worring comment from Poch. Most people in football agree you can only become very good in one postion by playing there every game, and that you cannot become a great cb and a great rb at the same time. You have to find one postition and stick to it or he will become average at both. Poch starting to worry me as he did when he picked Kaboul as captain

Versatility and learning to play multiple positions as a young player is hugely beneficial to player development. Learning how to react to different scenarios is what is going to make Dier a better player. Just because you're a CB doesn't mean you won't ever find yourself on the right or in midfield.

Once he has a few years more experience and has settled on his best position then he can push to play that position.

By the way, the headline is a complete misrepresentation of the article.

Just glad he wasn't saying it about Hugo, but then he'd probably do a better job up front than....no, I won't say it....

Dutch players learn to play in different positions, so I don't get the confusion.

Ledley King played central midfield at times early in his career, didn't hold him back. Scholes played up front then moved to attacking mid.

Basically your criticism of Poch is pure nonsense.

So because other players have played another position, not
Been particularly good at it and later exelled in a position that's fine? Dier is quite obviously a cb and
Will end up a cb so why don't we play him there now so in two years time he will be alot better than he will be playing at right back in that time
