i read harry in the sun today stating he was not bitter about not having his contract renewed also he did not hold any grudges
thats really good of him
considering he was sounding out brendon rodgers to see if he would be his assistant with england;whilst still under contract to spurs
considering he refused to sign the contract levy offered him as he was waiting (in error) for the england job
considering he then started to complain about no contract offer after he realised he was not getting the england job
real class ;i cannot believe people notably newspaper reporters buy into this self serving sheister

I disagree. We all know harry's motormouth tendency (he is loquacious, which is the other side of the coin, and is a great man manager). Do we know for sure he refused to sign a contract? And if he did refuse, was it, in his view, an unreasonable contract? Does anyone really know the details of said contract? And if so, could someone please tell? I don't want this to descend into a puerile schoolyard slanging match, superficially depicted as a pro HR/anti HR thing. It's not that at all. However, I will say that he did a lot for the club, for all his bleedin' foibles (which we all have in spades); and we played exciting thrilling football to boot (not always, I admit, and yes, we had one Gareth Bale etc etc). I simply don't understand the animosity. I hope so-called fans give him a warm welcome tomorrow. I would like to think we have sufficient decency, generosity and respect for that. Perhaps I am overly optimistic. I just find mean-spiritedness depressing. Sorry about this rant - I don't think it's directed at you Buckley! I think I am railing against a tendency, which seems to persist whoever the manager.

I think it's time to forget about that. Let's not tarnish whatever success we may have under Poch with arguments about what may or may not have happened before.

All I want is a convincing victory tomorrow.
