“I am happy with all players,” Tottenham’s manager said. “I have no complaint with the players. I complain with me because I need to give them more tools to play better. This is my worry.

So we can end the theory once and for all that he needs three or four transfer windows to "fix" the team.

He still wants to sell 90% of them - that is leaked every week. And for me is why the players do not want to play for him.

He doesn't want them, they don't want him, no one's benefiting.
Cluster Fucked.

I was watching fantasy football on sky sports this morning and Rob Lee was on it. He was recalling his time at Newcastle when Ruud Guillet was there. He was alienating a number of players trying to assert authority over the squad including Alan Shearer.
We all know how that ended.
The only difference at spurs is there's *no one in the squad we care about enough to worry about Poch alienating.

*Lloris will go regardless.

But, but, but....stability! Signings! Whatcha sayin'??????

I think folks are going to have to accept that there aren't going to be any mega-signings. Hell, I wouldn't mind betting that this was part of the basis on which he was offered the job, namely improve this bunch and make them worth their value. This might have been in contrast to candidates like de Boer who did want to make a good few signings.

It's looking increasingly likely that it'll boil down to whether or not he can get this lot up and running - which I personally think is a tall order. In that respect I think we will soon need to see inklings of the players beginning to adapt to his ideas but people need to remember that it didn't take him this long at Southampton. Unfortunate for Poch, but I', becoming increasingly of the belief that we have a set of true dud players on our hands and only a world class manager is likely to be able to lift them.

I think that if we begin to see some signs from Poch in the way that there are some signs at Man U from LvG, then Levy can feel more comfortable in continuing to back him and giving the club the much fabled "stability" people talk about.

"Leaked", by who?
Sherwood
I'm guessing Levy.
Agents/middlemen have always contacted him directly. He will simply pass MP's long list of undesirables to them to see if they can get anyone interested.

The players themselves will know full well what is happening.
MP has to convince them that he doesn't, so they play for him: "I'm just a coach...".
