Transfer scramble: SIX Premier League clubs eyeing swoop for Holland international
A HOST of Premier League clubs are lining up to sign Dutch ace Matthijs de Ligt.

Matthijs de Ligt: The Premier League's big boys are all tracking the Dutch ace
De Ligt is on the books at Ajax.

But with England’s heavy hitters chasing after him - the defender could be off soon.

The People reported yesterday that Everton are sniffing around ahead of a potential swoop.

Boss Ronald Koeman likes his countryman, who plays at centre-back.

Manchester duo City and United also like the 17-year-old and could battle for his services.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are also taking a look at the Ajax academy man.

Starting a thread using a Daily Star report usually doesn't end well.

He's 17 and was the most impressive defender on the pitch in the Europa League final. He'll cost a fortune and as mentioned above the business model for Ajax won't allow a sale for another year or two.... and by then he may well be out of our range

Shame, as it stands I'd happily sign him up on a 15 year contract!!
