Holy shite, this is outstanding news! If I had written up a Christmas list, this would have been easily top of the list.

Pleased with the club for seeing it through, and pleased for Marcus as I think he made an excellent career choice, regardless of the bias. Very much looking forward to seeing what happens with this kid over the next few years.

it might not have had any influence but i still think it's fitting that his latest tweet was a retweet about onomah's full debut just adds on to the good warm feelings going round the club atm

I personally think that seeing Onomah make his debut provided an extra bit of incentive to stay with us. To see a similarly highly talented player come through the academy amd his friend make his debut for the first team under Poch shows that he too stands a chance here

Initial pro-contracts never are.

When you see the likes of Carter-Vickers having contracts announced officially by the club, that will be a renewal / improved contract, rather than the first contract when they turn 17.

Have any other source (like himself on twitter etc) confirmed it?

not everyone looks in there though and I think this is important enough news that it warrants its own thread.

I must admit I'm guilty of not reading that thread, especially as 1 it's hard to contribute to something that's hard to view in real life. when a new thread starts about a player I find it easier to follow, even if I cant really contribute

from 74-77 I could of contributed as I followed Spurs at all levels when the games where played at WHL, could of told you we had a special player called Hoddle

I follow the u18-21s etc thread as I can't get to see the youngster coming through and there are people who post on it that go to the games they play in. Ok it's only their opinions but that gives more insight than watching 10-15 minute TV or online threads.
Hate watching games on TV as opposed to in the flesh, I can't see team or player movement without the ball but it's all I can do nowadays.
Oh and great news about young Marcus.(y)
From what I have seen looks great on the ball, very talented young man.

I just haven't got the time to read 250 pages, I like to read a thread from the start so that if I post its not been posted a 1000 times already
