Edwards would benefit watching how Moura plays
Moura is small but put himself about and not afraid to challenge for headers
Uses his speed and trickery to good effect . All these if Edwards had it in his game would do him a lot of good

Can’t comment on Edwards because I’ve only seen clips of him in mazey runs. But spot on about Moura and going for headers. He’s never going to win them against towering CBs but he’s there rvery time being a thorn in their side.

Moura is gifted with a high jump though, Watched him a lot of times surprise me how high he leaps.

Lloretne and crouch though coudnt get off the floor.

Absolutely - he's got a great spring and wins much more than you'd think. Sounds a bit daft given the style of his game but he'd do well to work on his heading a bit to make the most of that leap.

On Edwards - agree with the sentiments here - he could learn a lot from a player with Moura's style. Ultimately it will come down to what him/Poch discuss when he's back in the summer. Would love to think he has a future with us and i hope this loan has shown his some elements he needs to strengthen in his game and his mental application.

Edwards has a long way to go in his physicality and I don’t think he will bulk up to Moura levels. Will be interesting to see him develop when he comes back.

Does anyone know if Marcus made the 80 minute journey from Rotterdam to watch Spurs against Ajax? I think this would tell us his thoughts about the club.

don't know if he went but he talks a bit about spurs in an article posted a while back:

Since his eighth, Edwards is the Spurs player and in the second cup tournament he was allowed to come in once, for Vincent Janssen. Getting Tottenham 1 seems like a logical dream. "I have no dreams," he confesses. 'I have talent, it is up to me to do something with it. If I bring the first from Tottenham, I have done well; if it does not work, I have to look for the blame myself. I follow Tottenham and will always continue to do so, it is my club. I have seen them win from Borussia Dortmund this week. Then I cheer hard.

They're relegated though. Hopefully still gets a few more minutes in their final game.

didn't see the game as i couldn't find a stream but apparently he did well when he came on

i still think he could be an asset to us in certain situations even if the rest of his game isn't quite there yet, like the recent brighton game for example where all we were doing was passing the ball in front of them and then trying to force it through a 10 man wall. we don't really have anyone who can take the ball and beat players in tight spaces at the moment and you only have to beat one player before the knock on effect of others having to move out of their zone starts to open up space that wouldn't otherwise be there. looking at our dribbles per game in the league this season our highest is juan foyth(1.6 per game) which says it all really(though son and lucas lose out due to sub appearances weighing down their numbers). marcus still has big holes in his game that he needs to improve on but he does have a unique skill-set which we could surely make use of.

Moura?

Agree we don’t have many who can wriggle through a defence. Would love him to have another shot with us.

I agree with you completely. In his first professional season he was the Eredivisie's leader for most successful dribbles per 90, that's pretty amazing. With his skill set I think he could be a great squad option for us next season if he continues to put his head down and gets the opportunity to train with Poch and the first team. I hope he gets his chance to shine with the first team during the pre-season tour.

I'd rather he play week in week out and improve his all round game and mentality than make the odd sporadic appearance with us tbh.

No ill reports about attitude lately.
Give him a go.
At least bring him back
before we lose him.
Seems to have the talent
Maybe save us 20 million or so.
One of our own.

My fotmob app says he's starting but in central midfield which can't surely be right. Anyway they're losing 1-0 at half time. 1-3 Down on agg.
