Manchester United are set to push on with their bid to sign Eric Dier, firm in their belief that the midfielder wants to swap Tottenham for Old Trafford this summer, sources have told ESPN FC.

From what I see, this all stems from the fact that Dier said he would find a transfer to united hard to turn down, when he was at Sporting Lisbon. Jose has got his friends in the media to help tap up Dier imo. One thing is for sure, there is no way we can sell him to United, we will look extremely small time if we do.

Thinks there's no doubt he prefers a move to Man Utd. That is not good for us, players who want to leave very early stay. If we don't pay more wages, get used to this

Take out the word 'confident' and replace it with 'arrogant to presume' and it's pretty much spot on.

Unless there's a statement from the club soon I will start to believe the shit - can't see it though - time to make a statement -like the arrogant arse who's obviously tapped one of our first teamers up can do one.
He has just signed a new contract and it will be getting better

And if Chelsea wont sell matic to the Portuguese arse ( even though he wants to go) why should we sell Dier

The club have said on numerous occasions already that we won't sell anybody we want to keep. Both Levy and Poch have said this.

It sounds like a confession of tapping up from Man Utd to me. Maybe we should raise that point.

Looks like there is mileage in this one as per Kyle Walker
Does that narcissistic runt Maureen ever develop any talent of his own - I certainly can't think of anyone.
He has that Timothy Fosu Mensah who looks really promising, but will probably just be left to rot.
Always difficult when you have a potentially unhappy player on your books as it can spread disharmony, but Utd have got history in pillaging our squad when we are on the up. Hope Levy tells them where to go.

Also from the interview that the express quote:

"I loved to watch Gerard Piqué and Rafael Márquez, who played in both defence and midfield at Barcelona."

He's clearly going to Barcelona.

I also enjoyed reading all the quotes from Dier's close friends
