People say we were under the cosh and couldn't break out and had nothing to trouble them and people will also say what does Dele do and it still won't click.

Dele has been gash for months mate, funny how players always get better the longer they are out of the side. He's probably our most out of form player in the squad.

You can disagree as much as you want but I’m highly chuffed to come away from there with a point. Yes we were under the cosh most of the game but got a precious point, more than we got last season ???
Thats not enough for some fans though mate, if they dont get results and scintillating football, they won't be happy and they'll moan.
I've been grinning like a Cheshire Cat all day, well happy with it... fuck the performance.

Sessegnon /Le Celso /Ali /Son /Verts/ Foyth / six among the players missing thru injury or fitness Half the side that would possibly start
Man City a fully fit world class squad and these muppets are moaning about the performance for me in the circumstances the team was outstanding full of grit and determination and the point taken was immense and well played lads and stuff the moaners there is plenty of fans (note' I say fans) who are proud of the performance and happy with the score.

We have - they’re better than us!

Poch plays a certain way.He wants to change the style but I'm not so sure if he really is a creative thinker. He has great attributes in getting players to be loyal and follow his system and he has had a great plan that made us stronger by miles over the years but not sure that he can really create against other teams in the situation,in the moment. He always changes players in the 60th minute etc. Its a system he has created and that's great. But I not sure if he really is going whole hog on changing us to a more attacking style. Is it in his DNA?

Last season in the league, they beat us 1-0 home and away. 2-2 this season.

Champions league was 1-0 to us and they won 4-3 at their gaff.

So over five games, quite a sample, on aggregate it's 8 - 6 to them.

Not light years ahead like some would have you believe.

But ahead.

About as far ahead of us as we are ahead of Newcastle? We finished 26 points ahead of Newcastle last season, while City finished 27 points ahead of us.

Not light years, as nobody has me believe, but ahead!

Dele actually makes a big difference in games like that. He is able to get us up the pitch and he also draws loads of fouls and offers a threat running in behind. Son and dele would have made a big difference.
Agree about Dele not so sure about Sonny. He can disappear a bit in these sorts of games and to fit him in you have to leave out someone such as Lamela who is very disruptive to teams like Man City.

Up until February we were only a few points behind them and we fell away badly due to injuries and fatigue because of the world cup, everyone knows that.

Point is we were keeping pace with them up to two thirds of the way through the season.
