The NYTimes just called Pep: "The finest coach of his generation."

What a crock of utter bullshit.

Give Poch FOUR HUNDRED MILLION POUNDS over THREE YEARS to spend on players, and see what he comes up with.

I really must go to bed as I've got to get up and watch Mike Wedderburn (smug twat) to see his reaction to how Citeh were "controversially" dumped out of the Champions League.

Lets face facts though, we were a bit shit tonight. We need to improve.

That's actually a fair comment - but that is because of the gap in teams. Also we were clinical in the third though. This game will live long in the memory and we fought hard against the team that has almost unlimited resources and talent. We nearly had to put an 18 years old on when Moussa went off injured. Considering that gap between the teams, we should be very very proud of what Poch and the guys have achieved.

Lets enjoy this day and this memory. And we actually have a chance against Ajax.

Opinions are of course what make this site roll.

So here goes.

If you can't appreciate what our injury plagued Spurs achieved over the course of this tie, and last night especially, against a squad with a plethora of top talent.

Then I'm at a loss to understand when some will truly find happiness regarding supporting Spurs.

I'm not saying nobody's entitled to be critical. But I'm also a believer, that sometimes you've just got to enjoy the moment.

Chuffed to bits.

Might be a bit of an inquest into VAR after that. We've actually been very lucky. It turns out it completely failed to show an angle of the Llorente goal which shows a very, very clear handball that should have seen it disallowed.

I've watched that vid 40X and as you say, from that angle Llorente clearly 'handles' the ball before it hits his thigh.

But if you then concentrate on Laporte behind Llorente, then he too looks to handle the ball and unlike llorente, his offence is 'hand to ball'.

We'd need another angle to show who offended first and whether it should have been a penalty or free kick. And if it is impossible to call then it can't be called.

Whats brilliant about that clip is just how close it was to the 3 heads before it reaches Llorente, such fine margins

The ball glances against his arm before he thumps it with his hip. The arm was in a natural position and the ball would hit his body if it didn’t hit his arm at all. Thus, it doesn’t matter that it touched his arm. Think of it this way, if he is defending and it glances off his arm before hitting his hip, it certainly is not a pen. Same analysis.

Only 1hr 47 mins until BT repeat the game:D
Already watched it 3 times fully and the highlights twice. The only slightly annoying thing for me, is most of me man city supporting mates switched to united when they were truly shit. So i have no Man city supporting mates to share my joy with:smug:

Just got up to go to work. Was I dreaming or are we in the semi finals? Answers on a postcard to “I’m fucking exhausted in Hoofddorp, Neverlands, Westeros”

Got about 4 hours sleep last night. Was fucking wired going to bed. Still wired now.

My boss would think I'm on something today if he didn't know how much I much I bloody love this club.
