I genuinely can't believe this, if we don't get somebody in of a significant standard, I've spent all summer curtailing my excitement but in Jan everybody was going on about how good this guy was. Now we are suddenly allowing Everton to get the jump for 30 million? He looks a different type of player to Moura, he looks like he has the potential to be an upgrade on what we have. We have to have something in the works or our fan base have every right to feel aggrieved.

Didn't we have the same question marks when Boufal signed for Southampton?

Is Malcom really the world beater he's seemingly being made out to be, despite only really generating "major" interest from Inter Milan & now Everton?

Yeah I guess we'll find out. I've never watched the guy so can only go on others opinions on him. I do remember people saying Saints got a really good player in Boufal and he's pretty damn poor.

Gards firing off on twitter, saying we have 2 targets and will get 1. Assuming that means between Martial and Zaha as basically every ITK has stated we love those 2 players.

At 30mil, I believe had we wanted him, he was ours. In January, we wanted a right sided winger it seemed, Moura signed instead. Now the priority seems to be a left sided Wing/Striker. Not surprised if he wasn't a target.

Well I do hope we sign that winger/striker.

So many moaners, people need to realise that Danny Rose and Toby are like two new signings.

Moura will also feel like a new signing this season, I've heard that he's been very sharp in training.

This is encouraging but also worrying given that, if it is these two, then each transfer has their own big hurdles to overcome

Agreed, can't imagine we are still chasing Martial at this point if that deal isn't going to work but everything we've seen/heard thus far is that ManU won't do the deal.

Delighted to hear this but can anyone explain why looks like a grandad?

I’d be amazed if we paid the money for either. The only one out the two I can see happening is Martial, if we let Man U have Toby.

If that's the case I'd put my money on it being Zaha. It sounds like Palace could have a price that they would consider as apparently they need to sell. Pursue Martial until the last moment and then chuck the money at Zaha? I don't like the strategy as it could always blow up but at least Zaha won't need to acclimatise to the Prem like Malcom would need to.

Still has to acclimate to playing on a team where he won't be the focal point of the offense. Siggurdson and Llorente should be big alarms against a player that is the entire offense to a team and was horrible without them.

Zaha is far more dynamic than either of those players mentioned, a fair bit younger and would probably offer more with less pressure of having to carry those around him.

Terrible examples to use.

He has plenty of experience of not being the focal point of a team though. When he first went back to Palace he was used as a winger, his previous position, it's only as his influence grew that he was moved to a more focal position.

Beginning to look a bit bleak now. Going to be losing 2 first teamers and we're not even being linked (let alone close) to any world class players.

Think either of those signings are highly unlikely tbh

Maybe for an optimistic spin, Bordeaux will want to sign Nkoudou or Sissoko as a replacement!
