''MirrorSport understands Ali would find it extremely hard to turn down a huge move to Spain.''

Lol, so because historically some other players jumped at the chance means they can base their understanding on that and its now a fact that can be stated for Ali.

When Bale came good I always felt there was an inevitability of him going to Madrid - I knew the whole lifestyle would appeal to him. Don't feel that way about Alli though - I think he'll stay in the Premier League until he's 30 at least. Hopefully with us obviously.

Dele has twice as many goals as Kroos and Isco combined this season and more shots on goal as either of them. Ronaldo has scored two more goals but in seven games less.

I don't think he will be going anywhere, but i thought the same about Bale, Modrich and Berbatov, not to mention Carrick.

I think it's just paper talk but if and when RM come knocking no player will refuse. No player.

This is rubbish, but sadly it always starts this way. Madrid take their time to cultivate media hype. This helps them sway a player and create uncertainty. I do expect several bids to come in for Alli next summer. He's an incredible player.

I hope we've moved on from the days of Berbatov, Modric and Bale however and look to build and win the title. Now's the time to keep our best players.

Nonsense of course. But I don't think that our players can be persuaded to leave our club as easily as they would have been once upon a time, even RM. You get the sense that all our players love playing for the club and each other, and there is a strong bond between playing staff and management. There's a real feeling among the fans and the players I'm sure, that we are genuinely on the verge of something brilliant. Add into that the new stadium.

We have stability for the first time in living memory (well, the 80's at least). Very exciting times. COYS!

I was thinking about that the other day. I think there's a difference around our club now. The 'team' with Modric and Bale, never really felt like a team. It was individual brilliance. Exciting to watch. We don't have a Bale or Modric in our team, but we are a much, much better team now, with an identity, from top to bottom the club is unified, pulling in the same direction. All our star players have recently signed extensions to their contracts, which for us is unprecedented!

Not impossible that one of our players go to RM, but it's not as given anymore, because we are showing ambition and progress on and off the pitch.

Yes. Let's hope his Bromance with Dier helps keep him here too!

Nice of you to drop in with a considered response ;)
Literally no more needs to be said. Sick of Madrid tapping up our players. We are meant to have some sort of partnership with them but all they have done is screw us over numerous times. Sign Gareth Bale and then sell one of their best players to our biggest rivals. Anyway 2 simple words sums up exactly how I feel about them.

The "partnership" just meant that RM used lube when they f**ked us.
