I believe Davies counts as homegrown. Cardiff is a part of the FA, and he was on their books for three years before turning 21. Eric Dier, on the other hand, is not. Grew up in Portugal.

He was on Swansea’s books, so he counts as HG for the Prem, but not for the CL

My father in law is an Everton fan, and says Digne looks quality when attacking, but is very suss when asked to defend.

Sounds like he would fit in perfectly at spurs then! Get him signed up!

TotQUOTE="Sandros Shiny Head, post: 6370168, member: 26033"]Rose would be the right one to move on in this. Davies is the better defender and emergency CB cover and Digne is a massive upgrade attacking wise on both[/QUOTE]
Completely disagree. Rose has been one of our best players this season. A lot better than Davies imo

Digne has the creativity of Baines but also decent pace. Rose is a very good defender but piss poor going forward. As we’re reliant on having attacking full backs, signing someone like Digne and Sessegnon is a no brainer.

Rose is poor going forward? Rubbish. Are you being serious? The biggest deficiency Rose has, in my opinion, is his tendency to get injured. He’s a passionate player and he’s proved that he’s still got it this year.

Rose is piss poor going forward, he can’t cross or find a pass... head down and boot the ball. Defending he’s excellent though.

Rose is better than Digne.

Buy sessegnon and have him as second choice LB and move Davies to CB where he’s actually played quite well.

Aurier can also play LB. We could swop him with Digne and sell Rose next summer when Sess is up to speed, after a season’s coaching under Poch.

He can, but he's not a natural left footed player. We need someone who can make a cross from left and not having to go inwards crossing.

I would hate to see Rose go. Thought he was getting back to his best toward the tail end of the season

I don't think many people will admit but when Rose gets to the final third, this season, the delivery/chance creation has been poor 9/10 of the time. I genuinely believe that after watching him all season.

Even if we signed Digne or Sessegnon personally I’d still like to keep Rose and Davies.

Davies I see more as a left-sided centre back in a back three and also showed this season that he was able to do so in a back four.

He has good technical ability but perhaps lacks thrust of kind of full back / wing back we need so then Rose would duke it out with someone else.

Not happening boys, although he is a brilliant player Everton are not the club they used to be, and will fight tooth and nail to keep him just as we would for our best players.

I may be wrong but I can honestly say when I have seen Everton this season I have not thought wow he's a player that's if I have noticed him at all.

I think Digne's defensive play is weak. He's good going forward and got a good cross but his defending is not good. He showed a lot of potential in Lille and Barcelona picked him up early but as mentioned, defensively, not good enough

other than the age difference I dont see much advantage to us, especially if they want a chunk of cash.
