LoCelso needs to start pushing for it. It's what our players did to us when a big move was on the table.

Levy is using a negotiation ploy.
He knows that Real Betis only signed him to sell him on. He will know if there are any other bidders.
If Poch really wants him he will get his man.
This is a massive rebuilding summer for Spurs, where we are renewing our squad so we cannot afford to overpay.

I get that you want us to sign him but seriously! I wouldn’t want those types of players at my club. What goes around comes around............unless by push you mean negotiate privately with his club?

So you wouldn't want Bale or Modric back then.

I think you’ve missed my point there mate. It’s not about players wanting to move on, it’s more about how they go about it.
If I remember correctly, neither Bale or Modric forced their transfers and if they did, it wasn’t through the media.
Like I said at the end of my original post, it depends if you mean he should negotiate privately with his club or do a Berba

I remember some fans beating the crap out of their wives with the antics he used

I'd love to see him with us but Betis have everything to gain from holding on to him for another season. His value is only going up they're not likely to find anyone nearly as good even with £60-70m in the bank.

I saw Pablo went to PSG for only €20m (his buy-out clause) yesterday- which is a steal. We should have been all over that. Great player.

Actually they did. Neither Bale nor Modric wanted to go on pre-season training or tour.
