Lloris interview postgame was clear he wasn't happy with how that game ended.

Have you even read it?
He constantly uses 'we', not 'they'...he's not the only one making mistakes.
Absolutely. To be fair, he's not the only one and it would be weird if he started singling out individual players.

He is right to use 'we'. As a team they are collectively responsible and it would be great to see a heightened team effort to be more solid

Hugo is so well spoken, he never uses dull cliches, is he even familiar with phrases like "sick as a parrot or Giving the lads a rocket".

Anyone with any ITK on this?

Well it takes a strong character to come out with a statement like that when he's been a full fledged culprit.

Of course I’ve read it! It’s just ironic imo that it’s hugo coming out with the statement (which is correct- the team collectively are making a lot of errors) when he’s made some of the most high profile.

It would be just as ironic if Foyth had said the same after the wolves match

It's not like he's just rang up a journalist out of the blue and said it is it?...he's obviously at a press conference and has been asked about it.

Besides...what you're wrongly accusing him of is hypocrisy, not irony.

It’s not hypocrisy. It would be if he was just accusing the rest of the team

Saw less evidence v Wolves of Hugo's fondness for passing to a back line player who gets hemmed in and pressurised into a mistake. It's something that has driven me nuts. I'd prefer it if he passed it longer and we had players further up challenging hard for the 2nd ball. Too often we see Harry Kane left on his own and we lose possession that way, but it's better than losing it on the edge of our box.

As club captain it's his job to come out and make these statements if it is the sort of message the team want to give out. We all make mistakes in our professional careers and as a leader within his organisation it's his job to make sure people learn from them.
