Former Tottenham and England striker Gary Lineker has made a worrying prediction about current manager Mauricio Pochettino after what he told him during their first ever meeting.

That's a nothing article. Just repeating what we can already adjudge for ourselves but without anything tangible to back it up.

Indeed. Just good old Mr Lineker putting potentially destabilising shit out there before the CL final in hope of a negative affect for THFC & to the benefit of media darlings LFC.

The content is backed up, and it does have quotes. Some have a pathological need to dismiss every and any news article, but there is actually such a thing as factual news, even in today's world.

There is a huge media strategy happening behind the scenes this summer to orchestrate a huge summer. And yes, Pochettino's threats about possibly leaving are real.

In this case the 'facts' are that Lineker met Pochettino and (according to Gaz) he said to him that Spurs need to invest. That's all.

Hardly a revelation. The rest is onion.

So Lineker after five years finally meets Poch. Would have thought that given his high profile punditry job this was rather remiss of him. It also suggests he hardly is in a good place to understand Poch or be a person Poch would spill secrets to. Best Lineker sticks to comments about his beloved Leicester

Prem league manager wants to sign players shock
Premier league clubs are to hold a crisis meeting today after yet another manager said he wants new players.
All 20 EPL teams are meeting to discus what can be done to stop managers continually making such ridiculous demands.

In other news, Water is wet.

Of course it is not a revelation, even my mum understands that "investment is needed" or what the fekk is the slogan of the summer. However, the same message is being constantly aired in the media with no sign of curbing or curtailing, which leads me to think that there is a purposeful media strategy this May (dismay, gettit?) as a result of some inner push between some stakeholders.

So, on his first ever meeting with Lineker, Poch opens up his heart to him and spills the beans on his intentions. Cobblers!

Linekers opinion after meeting the man is a point worth reading. Not sure why there are so many complaints about it. We've put plenty of faith in ITK over the years. They are both football men so Lineker will understand what he hears and probably draw the correct conclusions...

Totally overlooking the notion that there was money to spend in the last two transfer windows, but Poch supposedly chose to decline.

Of course, much more dramatic to allude to Poch leaving if not backed this window. I'd suggest attempting to sign de Jong for circa £65 million in the recent past, points to the club trying to back Poch.

Yes, maybe the club do have to look at the way we operate in the window, and additions are clearly needed.

But we've been told that money has always been there, not a bottomless pot, something I'm sure Poch is sensible enough to understand.

The article gives the impression that we have failed to back him and need to in order to retain his services.

That's a myth, money has been there.
