So what does the travelling fans in here prefer? 30 pound cap on away tickets or "assisting with travel costs"?

Levy doesn’t come across well here and just confirms the notion that he’s the greedy fucker we all thought he was.

What a prick.

He doesn't come across well. When will people learn not to put things in writing in this media age unless it is legal documents. It always ends up being leaked for political gain to these type of agents. Makes you wonder who of the big six leaked the emails and why?

Could also be argued in favour of Levy here.

The cap means home fans are subsidising away fans. This might have been what he wanted rather than West Ham coming and making Nazi salutes on the cheap.

Basically from levy's point of view the top 6 clubs are the only ones that charge more than £30 for a ticket anyway so are the one's being punished.
Levy's job is to look after tottenhams interest first.

I'm not saying that levy is right by any means just giving his pov.

Fortunately it’s written down or Poch would be getting the blame, interested to hear the spin on it in coming days.

Regarding Lilbaz point shouldn’t the fans interest be fundamental in tottenhams interest as opposed to it?

This club has been a buisiness since the 80's just as most clubs are these days. The clubs will consider their fans as customers and will look to maximise profit, that is levy's job. Not sure why people expect anything different.

I appreciate where you're coming from but there's running the club like a business and then there's literally saying you hate the idea of doing something that will benefit fans. It's good PR for him. We're fortunate that clubs universally agreed because otherwise we'd have a scenario like in europe where teams raise the prices of certain away opponents those teams then raise the prices on the reverse fixture and it would be the spurs fans that suffer from that.

And yet Coops, when some people dare to suggest that Levy's determination to always "maximise profit" might account for the lack of significant investment in the squad, the outrage from certain quarters is deafening. What's that about, mate?! Surely, if you recognise that this is indeed the priority outcome that Levy actively pursues, you have to accept he'll deserve criticism when that policy conflicts with the needs of the football team? Inevitably, - and historically - this constant, unrelenting pursuit of "maximising profit" has resulted in an inability to move on "deadwood" and a consistent failure to acquire the manager's top targets. I don't think that's something that as supporters we just have to accept all of the time. I think we can hope to see our owners operate in a different way. Just once in a while, wouldn't you like to see the football side prioritised, mate?

This is old news, well to any Spurs fans that have ever read the summaries from Trust meetings with the club. IIRC several times the club/Levy haven't hidden they were against capping away prices.

I know how he can maximise Spurs’ profit. Give himself a wage cut. Then fire his family members who are stealing a living from the club. The fact is he is not out for profit he is just out for himself. That is why he is the highest paid chairman in the premier league.

What family members does he employ at the club?

One thing I've literally always stated, is I perfectly understand peoples frustrations with Levy.

What I don't & never will understand, is the unbelievable amount of those frustrated people who are unwilling to even acknowledge the good that's come from either his stewardship or ENIC's ownership.

It's the downright 'hatred' and 'animosity' that I'll never understand or accept.

However, it does 'appear' that the majority of 'I'm old enough to remember how shit things were before Levy/ENIC' supporters, are able to comprehend & appreciate the unrecognisable nature and stature of the club now, compared to the one that they took over. Less of a sense of entitlement, if you will.
