They've scrapped the new badge and instead opted for a post-season tour of a country where ethnic cleansing is still ongoing. I don't know who suffers the most from this tour, Leeds or the Burmese?

All jokes aside I wouldn't mind them in the prem. I'd rather teams with big followings than the rugby towns of the north. Snobbish I know.
Leeds? In the Prem? I don’t know what you’ve been smoking mate but their fans are some of the most despicable thugs I’ve ever encountered!

When I lived in Bristol a few years back, they played Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground, just behind my house. I was away for the weekend, and found the “fans” had broken a shed load of windows and trashed a local pub.

In perspective, even the local Bristol derbies weren’t that bad, and they were pretty shocking!

West Yorkshire is rugby league country mate...

Leeds is more football than rugby league though. Their average attendance was double that of the Rhino's and higher than that of Leicester, Southampton, Brighton, Stoke, Palace, West Brom, Huddersfield, Swansea, Watford, Burnley and Bournemouth. As much as I dislike them the Prem would be better off with Leeds back in it. Same with Villa, Forest and a Sheffield team.

It's not mate. Despite the old powerhouses of Leeds and the Sheffields, Yorkshire has always been more about the rugby and cricket. Attendances at a bigger stadium don't reflect a whole city and surrounding county.

I also wouldn't want Leeds fans in the premier league, their home games to Man Utd alone would be horrendous.

I spent my late teens and 20s in Bradford & do not want Leeds anywhere near the premiership, fans are proper pricks, can’t stand the fuckers.
And can confirm that Rugby league gets consistently higher gates than football in W Yorkshire

I'm totally on board the Bielsea-Leeds train. I reckon however long he lasts into the season, they'll be able to turn it into a box set.

Yeah they are the worst. Grew up with loads of them and they are similar to Liverpool fans in terms of annoyance, just more violent.

Depends how you're measuring it I suppose, if you include all the Superleague and Championship teams and compare that to all the PL and Championship football teams in W Yorkshire you might be right. But if we're talking specifically about Leeds, Rhinos consistently have the highest attendance in the Superleague but that's still not even half of what Leeds football's average attendance is. I understand obviously the stadium is bigger but that in itself is for a reason.
