Pogba reminds me of Ade when AVB was sacked how good was he fir sherwood to prove a point.

The problem is pogba is providing motivated great going forwards but doesn’t help out defensively enough.

Amazing how some players react to being loved rather than criticised. There is no one size fits all.

They're on a mid season break until March I think. So it's win win for him. Regardless of how well he does he has a job to go to either way.

Yeah this agreement is a loan with option to buy, just like you see with players. Very unusual.

If United don't take up the option Solskjær will go back to Molde in May, the Norwegian season is March to November so he'll miss about a third of it. His assistant manager is the interim and all his backroom staff will run things as he would so chances are he won't go back to a total shitshow.

Maybe but I think Pogba could have got to big for his boots, and has also shown a lack of respect to united.

Pfft. Long may it continue as he’s banks his £300k a week and appearances, goal and win bonuses.

Man United to consider Juventus boss Allegri in new manager search - sources

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri will be considered during Manchester United's hunt for a new manager, sources have told ESPN FC.

Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino is their top choice to replace Jose Mourinho, who was sacked last week, but United are committed to "a thorough and extensive" search before making a permanent appointment ahead of next season.

Caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has won his first two games after taking the job following Mourinho's dismissal.

The Norwegian, who is still under contract at Molde, has hinted he would also like to be considered for the role full-time but sources have told ESPN FC that United will push on with their search regardless of results on the pitch.

Allegri, who features above Pochettino in ESPN FC's rank of the world's best managers, has a contract at Juventus until 2020 but has let it be known he would be keen on a move to the Premier League.

The 51-year-old, who has led Juventus to four consecutive Serie A titles and reached the Champions League final in 2015 and 2017, was interested in taking over at Arsenal in the summer before Unai Emery was appointed as Arsene Wenger's successor.

He would fit the bill for United, who are also looking to reshuffle the structure of the club by appointing a technical director to fill the void between executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the new manager.

Mourinho was reluctant to have the changes implemented while he was in charge but it is a setup Allegri is used to have worked with sporting director Fabio Paratici at Juventus.

Pochettino, meanwhile, has refused to rule himself out of the running to be United's next manager although there is an acceptance at Old Trafford that it will be very difficult to persuade Tottenham to part company with a manager who has led them to three top four finishes in a row.

He saw Tottenham become Liverpool's closest challengers for the title on Boxing Day after they beat Bournemouth 5-0 and Manchester City fell to a 2-1 defeat at Leicester.

It’s what most clubs do. They look at the fixtures and give the incoming manager a good run. It happens all the time.
Also to give the new manager a chance at January reinforcements.

First goal, no premier league keeper should be spilling the ball like that and the second was absolutely atrocious defending.
Carragher thought it was a really hard one to save!!!
I'm with you, if you can't save that you best fk off out of top flight football. Was straight at him ffs.
Not saying you or I wouldn't have spilt it but it was poor. Newcastle had been looking most likely to score until that clanger.

United are rejuvenated! Now give him a contract and pay this release clause.

then we all can breathe easier for the next 12 months.

The media comparing Solskjaer with sir matt busby after they won last night.

Good to see they are going overboard. Give the man a 10 year contract!
