At the end of the day with regards to Riaola's players, it is who ever is prepared to pay him his obscene agent fee will get the player.
If Ajax are looking for £70m for De Ligt it will end up being £100m given his share that he will insist on.
Thats why Barcelona etc wont be the destination, as they wont pay the agent fee.

Man Utd don't seem to mind dealing with Raiola and paying him and clients obscene fees (Pogba, Lukaku & Sanchez).

This would be a moronic move by De Ligt. OGS hasn't proven that he can improve or develop a young cb yet, let alone young players and De Ligt is arguably at a crucial stage of his development. He shouldn't be going into a team who have been defensively terrible with a severe lack of leaders, he should be going to a club who have stability and a coach who is renown for improving them. Even Mourinho would have improved aspects of De Ligts game. I just don't see OGS being able to do that.

That's why united are fucked. Giving Sanchez that sort of money only opened the door for others to be demanding the same. Fair enough if you have shown that on the pitch, but often these players have shown bugger all at united. Riaola know's united are desperate that why he will end up there. Its a shame if he goes there, as it will purely be down to ££££.

Sky saying that they have ruled out a move for De Ligt, I take that as he has told them he's not interested more so that anything else.

It's obvious his agent is using Utd's interest in securing a better deal for him at Barcelona, standard practice. Never in a million years is he going to sign for a team with no structure and direction - not to mention a rookie manager.

People are gonna actually realise how far Utd have fallen this summer with the players they end up with.

he may well end up there. just like with fernandes it's down to who pays the obscene fee of scumbag raiola (£12m allegedly for de ligt).

fernandes said himself he has no idea where he's ending up, he's left it to his agent but thinks it's city/united. just goes to show what agents can do these days, players clearly don't give a shit about anything but the dollar.

I honestly dont know why players dont take more of an interest in their own career. If I was an up and coming player Im sure as shit gonna wanna play where I want to play. I wouldnt care if I got £120K or £150K a week. I would move to the team that I felt would best develop me as a player and had a clear vision of what they wanted to do.

I agree in general terms but 30k on 150k is a 20% drop in wages, if you scale that down to "normal person wages" terms that would be like going from 40k to 32k. That's a big old drop for essentially doing the exactly same job in a different uniform.

You have to scale everything up, these guys live in multimillion pound houses with several cars as well as taking care of their family and friends. 30k a week is a HUGE amount of money.

I presume many are just a little bit thick and have had someone dealing with their affairs and making decisions (parents) for most of their lives. It’s a comfort blanket and they don’t know any different.

Sorry mate I think you're massively clutching at straws on that one. Even if they do end up getting him, the fact that some random model looks vaguely like him surely can't be in anything other than a bit of a coincidence?

Exactly. Most of the kids who make it to the very top level have spent their whole lives since the age of 10 having all the other kids (and adults even) fawning over them and when they get to these academies they have their whole lives managed for them, and that continues into adulthood when they go pro. And anything that the club doesn't take care of for them, they're then usually rich enough to just hire someone else to take care of it for them anyway. It doesn't necessarily make them stupid, but if they've never really had to think for themselves is it any wonder that they're all a bit clueless when it comes to the nut and bolts of everyday existence?
