Mate at work is a big West Ham fan - he tells me they're trying to get "their" stadium extended to be bigger than ours. Seemed a bit annoyed when I mentioned that it's not their stadium at all and whatever happens it's rented.

He also thinks that they'll get top 4 if they get Maxi Gomez?!?!

After Liverpool they have to be the most deluded fans.

Rational me: It is important to ascertain the quality of the source when considering transfer news on Twitter.

Normal me: Fuck it, this is just too funny not to share...

Not surprised at all. Money is everything - but West Ham ? Even Arsenal and the Europa is a big ask ?

So... are you trying to tell me that Man City is the first seat, Newcastle/Wolves is the 2nd/3rd seat? Hence they are expecting a Man City v Newcastle/Wolves final??? and that the 4th seat is west ham? (1st v 4th, 2nd v 3rd right?)

So even the premier league believes west ham to be rubbish. :ROFLMAO:

I am told I don't know if its true but there ticket prices are way below ours also the the money from food and drink sales they only get a % of and also any advertising or sponsorship of the stadium they also only get a % of .
If all this is true it does not matter if they make it a stadium to hold 100.000 their match day revenue will never come anywhere near ours. Overall this seems to me that altho they only rent the stadium on the cheap the whole deal is pretty poor and I can see trouble ahead if the two Davids keep on spending the way they are as there is very little chance of making a financial killing.
