Bit harsh there mate. I'm far from a toff and I've got massively into cricket in the past 6 years or so, since my kids started playing. Our local club is full of all sorts but mostly really decent folk from all walks of life. There's not a chinless wonder in sight.
Rugby? Pah, only care about the 6 nations!

Oddly it's international rugby that's dominated by toffs, the little regional clubs I played for were all builders and farmers. Huge contrast to the public schoolboys of the England team.

And yeah, cricket is for everyone.

Was never desperate to sign him but he had a 1 in 3 goal ratio for West Ham. With Chadli leaving and needing a squad player, I maintain he could have been a decent option.

You know pre-season's here when you start seeing pictures of West Ham players in what looks like a council owned leisure centre. Wont be long before they're off jet setting around on a tour of Polish 2nd division minnows.

Their pre-season compared to ours is like Rocky IV, we're Ivan Drago with our state of the art equipment and facilities....they're Rocky lifting barrels of horse shit in a barn...the only difference being no fucker wants Rocky to win.

I'll have you know the Pierwsza Liga is actually pretty competitive. If anything I'm sure the likes of Raków Częstochowa, Warta Poznań, and Puszcza Niepołomice would see a fixture against West Ham as something that, quite frankly, is a little bit beneath them
