I can't see that at all. He only scored 18 in his best season with us. He was on loan at Palace for six months in 2015/16 and managed 1 goal. If any other club was linked to him I'd assume it was BS, but you never know with West Ham.

Admittedly I haven't seen him play for years now but given his general lack of effort and complete disregard for any kind of professionalism when it comes to training/discipline etc. I find it very hard to believe that he's managed to maintain enough athleticism to still compete in the PL at his age. It's one thing if you're some marginal gains "My Body Is My Temple" freak like Ronaldo, but Adebayor? I'm skeptical.

He achieves almost 50% goals to games ratio for pretty much every club the first season (or last if he thinks he can get a move for more money) including for us. We had him on loan and he got 18 goals from 34 matches. Then he got his deal and the ratio dropped.
Man City - 14 goals from 31 matches. Even Istanbul most recently. First season 7 goals from 16 games, then 17 goals from 36 games. Realized there was no more money to squeeze or big teams coming for him and suddenly can't hit the net
