So their 3 first-team keepers are all 33+? Not really planning for the future there guys...
I checked KUMB (and feel dirty now) and the theory is that this is all done so their 20 year old academy goalie can go out on loan and get game time.

I reckon someone told DG that... "you don't win anything with kids"

So he is bringing in older players. :ROFLMAO:

Their last two European campaigns..

2015/16 Qualified for the Europa League play offs by the "Fair Play" back door.

Played an Andorran and Maltese side in the first and second qualifying rounds then lost Euro giants Astra fecking Goo Goo. Managing to get a player sent off in each round.

2016/17

Again scraped in to a Europa League playoff having finished 7th - Alas those Euro Giants Astra Goo Goo humiliated them yet again.

But we knew all this, it's just nice to recall when they start to mock.

West Ham have got their transfer window off to a flyer.

A couple of days ago, they let their Spanish reserve keeper go on a free. That's fair enough. Sometimes you need to freshen things up. Yes, Adrian has extensive Premier League experience, and has put in some decent performances over the years, but he's 32 now and didn't play a single league game last season.

So who have West Ham brought in to freshen things up?

A keeper with experience of the Premier League? Err, no.

A fresh, young foreign talent then? Err, no, Roberto is 33, a year older than Adrian :oldman:

A keeper with recent first-team experience then? Err, no. He spent last season on Espanyol's bench.

But he must have some first-team La Liga experience? Yes, he came bottom with Malaga in 2017-18. :p

OK, but before that, any other first-team La Liga experience? Yes, he came bottom with Real Zaragoza in 2012-13.

So why on earth would they want him? He's free. :greedy:

But what happens if Fabianski gets injured? We all laugh at West Ham. Again. :ROFLMAO:

"I think everyone who follows football knows the importance of this club, so I'm really excited," Roberto said, thereby showing that (a) either he doesn't follow football, (b) he's been sold a pup or (c) someone mistranslated the word 'importance' from the original Spanish.

I'm going for (c).

Possibly said “impotence” which would be spot on....

Once the biggest club in London :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

And they reference the 60s. Remind them what we won in the 60s please. And how they did in comparison. :ROFLMAO:

The 60s are their "glory days" when they won the FA Cup and Cup Winners Cup and they never finished higher than 8th in the league.

Tbf they did get called on it.

Seriously where do you get that idea from ? We won 1 FA cup and cup winners but were a bottom half team. Spurs won the double European titles FA cups, Arsenal and Chelsea were both top half teams. We’ve never been bigger than Spurs or Arsenal. I think we’ve got 3 top 5 finishes in our entire history.

And the guy who said that got called a Spurs fan and another retorted with "but we won the World Cup".

I never like mocking people's ambition, so if they're striving to be the biggest and best in London (or Europe) then fair play.

But they have to be realistic; it'd probably be a 20 year plan.

They need to sort out their crappy stadium situation, change their senior management, build a squad with identity and verve, increase their global brand and fan-base, and finally boost revenues significantly (say by another £250m).

It's taken ENIC and Levy about that long to sort things out at Spurs and there was a hell of a lot of hard work, pain and sacrifice put into it.

You can't just pull it out of thin air...
