Something like 40m for Felipe Anderson.
He started 9 Serie A games for Lazio last season, a used sub in another 12 and injured for 14. Started 2 Europa League games, used sub in 4, injured for 5.

Looks like a bad injury kept him out (Aug-Dec) and then the side was settled without him. Also seems like Lazio got a good price for a player they don't really need.

Still a top 10 club at best for me. The only players I’d take from them is Arnautović and Lanzini. They’d both just be bench players though.
My house mate is a Spammer as is his brother. Been mates for 25 years but this time of year they do my head in with their ridiculous optimism. From the OS catapulting them to CL a couple of years ago, to top 6 this year after these recent signings. The only plus is watching their tears around Xmas when they are in a relegation battle... again.

This lot certainly aint messing about this summer, Anderson is some signing for them now too.
Wanted them to be relegated this year and thought they would next season but they wont now, top 10 IMO for them, so annoying they have a free stadium as they clearly have cash to burn now.

The board are borrowing £45 million according to KUMB

£100m spent all feels a bit desperate. Like they have panicked after last seasons fiasco. Massive risk bringing in 7 or 8 unproven PL players. If it goes tits up they could be in massive trouble. Gonna be fun to watch. Think it’s actually looks a lot better on paper on first view than if you dig down. The 3 biggest buys diop unproven and replacing Collins and Reid injured. Yarmolenko had a poor season at Dortmund and is likely replacing Antonio. And Anderson is a bit hit and miss and replacing Lanzini who’s out for season. So not sure their business is as good as it actually first looks. Still better than Arsenal though ?

Dunno how they are going to get around premier league cost control rules.

As far as i'm aware clubs are still limited by a £7m increase in wages unless they raise money though other channels such as commercial.

7 signings is going to be a lot to try and integrate. Knowing west ham they'll try and fit them all in from the start, mostly out of position.

No strikers yet? Surely they need to sign someone to score the usual 3 goals from a West Ham CF next season?!

Completed the club record signing of Felipe Anderson. They will probably screw it all up but he's a damn good player.

They seem to be hoping for a top ten finish in the coming campaign.

They finished 13th last time so it goes to show you don't get much for a £100 mill these days.

Too early to tell. As mentioned above, their dealings need to be looked at carefully. Antonio was monstrous for them a while back but he’s seemingly off, Lanzini out for an age and all the new boys bar the keeper are new to the league.
Anderson is a football manager 2015 signing. I’m not worried, especially when we already have our own 25 year old Brazilian winger who is actually better than Anderson yet can’t crack our first team!

When people are using the word “worried” in their posts about West Ham I’m assuming it’s because they’re worried that they aren’t going to get relegated because it can’t be for any other reason!

West ham are gambling. The board got scared last season with the protests and flirt with relegation. They have also had some bad injuries. It seems they have gone all in. But with big investment comes massive pressure for the manager He has to deliver something, but with so many players being integrated it will take time. We'll see if he's given it.

Not really sure what to make of Felipe Anderson. Some people, including West Ham's PR machine say he's mustard, while his stats and other people's comments suggest otherwise. Anyone watched him week-to-week?

Depends, as we've been here before with many teams, especially QPR a few seasons back when they signed Park, Cesar and a few other good players.

Reality is, real life isn't a computer game and they run the risk of having a team full of individuals - individuals that have no emotional connection to the club or each other. Dangerous to buy so many players in one go.
Yup, I can think of seven reasons why it’s not a great idea...
