My brother in law is a ****. Love him to bits but he's a ****. We decided to watch the game separately last night. I'm glad we did because I may well have ended any relationship with him and his wife if we hadn't.

Asked him during the game how he'd feel if it was given the other way (in relation to the penalty)

VAR should have been used.

I told him it was.

Then VAR agreed with the decision.

So I pushed him again and asked would you be fuming if it was given against you.

He told me to calm down that it's only a game. He knows how much more I support my team than he does and continued by saying the result won't effect him either way

Have to meet with the **** later for a family dinner too. Going to spit in his dinner

Edit: I fucking hate Liverpool so fucking much. More than the Gooners.

Edit 2: There are far more Liverpool twats in Ireland than Arsenal and I have to deal with them on the daily

Seems to me those fans are not really thrilled to win it, seemingly thinking by virtue they had it wrapped up weeks ago, and they won it last night without breaking much sweat.

And yet we are all studying the laws of handballs

I reckon it would have meant far more for us and would have been a much better result for them game in general for someone new to win it.

Ah well...

Edit: Yes, and it's not even close.

Edit 2: This is why I didn't go to the pub last night although in the end I got to see fuck all of the game because of my 2 month old who decided to have the biggest meltdown of her short life. So either way my ears would have hurt.

Truly truly weird how so many of them I met who had fake tickets or who had rushed the gates to get in. With the history of the club it makes their actions even weirder

Were they able to rush the gates? Didn't think that was possible these days.

Quick update.

Didn't spit in his dinner. Spat in his Apple tart instead.

Also removed his daughter(my niece) from the room for dinner as she was annoying the shit out of me. She's 9. Any more shite out of her and she'd have been out of the house. ****

From the guys I know, they know they were a bit shit and very lucky that a combination of strange refereeing and us misfiring saved their blushes.

The Liverpool players though sound like they genuinely believe they were incredible. Would love to know what voodoo Klopp casts, as you'd make a killing bottling that bullshit.

Just got back from Spain and I must say the ones I came into contact with seemed ok. Got the train back to Valencia and flight from there and they could of easily rubbed it in our faces but they didn’t at all. They were all pretty low key, as were the ones I encountered on the way back to my hotel in Madrid last night.

I thought they were going to be much more annoying. It must just be them online.

You should come to Dublin. They're by far and away the worst bunch over here.

Oh no, there’s no doubt they are absolute weapons. I’m just saying they weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be and gloating was at a minimum in Spain from what I encountered today.

Probably more of the real fans who know what it's like to be on the other end. The bell ends over here, some of whom I have to deal with in a professional capacity are going to be a nightmare during the week.

Posted this is a Whatsapp group and also sent a similar message to a few scouse mates who offered sympathies after the game. It was a fighting loss after a early goal. We were never out played but both teams could've scored 1 or 2 more if the finishing was better. Not that upset as we played well.

Liverpool are scum who cheat. They have cheated all season had dubious decisions all season. Van Dijk puts two hands on every player who can dribble passed him.

Found out on Friday morning my new neighbour is a Liverpool fan by virtue of seeing him in his jersey. I've seen him the last 2 days in it as well AND this morning. I'd say it's as clean as the rats in the drains of Merseyside at this stage
