There’s been at least 7 or 8 similar scenarios where we should of had penalties but haven’t. Two were in one game against Swansea last season. There’s been numerous others too with the most recent being Lucas getting pushed while jumping for a header against Watford. It’s actually bizarre refs have missed so many at Wembley. In fact I’m not sure even the opposition has had any penalties come to think of it.
Ha! I remember Serge was about to pull the trigger on his first Spurs goal and a defender just went straight through him, nowhere near the ball. I believe a goal kick was awarded.

I'm still very confused about whether to cheer on city tonight or not. As a spurs fan I should hope they don't win but it would kill me to see pool win it.

This is quite interesting and highlights Liverpool's major problem at the moment.

They're obviously struggling to create as many clear cut chances as they were previously and I think teams have figured out that you can still get at them as long as you retreat quick enough. Once West Ham had enough players back the other night Liverpool found it really tough to break them down.

The article shows that they were relying on Robertson's ability to get up and down quickly and support the attack, but he seems to be struggling to maintain that, which is hardly a surprise as he's played so much football. Milner obviously can't do that to great effect on the other flank and he's certainly going to tire in the second half of the season as he's 33.

That means they need the likes of Keita, Fabinho, Lallana, Henderson etc to create, except that's not really what any of them lot are about.

Salah is their most creative player but when the opposition know that and ensure Salah is as far from goal as possible you really need someone else to step up. Firmino tends to be that guy but he seems to be out of form/lacking in sharpness at the moment.

Interesting spot. I saw quite a few still photos from Monday nights match - he looks very strained and a bit puffy, not showing the usual glow and sparkle and I don't don't mean his teeth.

I've never been convinced by him. Goes missing too many times to be paid £165k a week.

Do they even use their midfield though? They seem to do most attacks hitting it to their fullbacks to cross or long punts from them or Van Dijk to Salah and Mane over the top. Their central midfield basically just need to be there to win the ball back. I might be wrong (or not watching them close enough because I'm usually just focusing on their cheating) of course but not much goes through them except to give the ball to the fullbacks to attack with.

I think you're right and it's probably another reason why they've been better defensively. I don't think any of their midfielders are 'creators' in a sense, they may have it within their capabilities but it's not solely what their game is based on and I think Klopp looked to solidify his team by getting lots of energetic and powerful midfielders in to give them a better defensive platform. Problem is when you tire and can no longer play hundred miles per hour you need an orchestral type to create something from nothing. Other than Salah who can dribble and Firmino who has exceptional movement they are generally all about speed. Eventually that hits a brick wall of tiredness or lack of ideas.

So basically the same problem as we have when our fullbacks aren't producing?

Slightly addicted to Anfield Wrap YouTube ? especially the self righteous pompous bloke. Their arrogance is something to behold honesty don’t think they even realise how they come across. But watching them currently squirm is glorious.

A perfect example of their arrogance is many of them still believe they are everyone's 2nd team and they are the impartial fans choice to win the league.

A pool fan phoned up the sports bar and tried to argue that if he didn't support pool then he would want them to win the league and couldn't see the flaw in his argument, Cundy was ripping him apart
