Is it just me or do many football 'corespondents" have their own agenda (not so) hidden in most articles they write ? I mean supposedly they write unbiased & neutral pieces based on what actually took place. it seems to me many of them each support their own teams and write their articles accordingly (ie excuse their teams failings and undermine their rivals with provocative often inaccurate pieces).

I suppose it depends on the specific journo to be honest. Also I think it depends what kind of article it is. If it's a plain and simple match report then I think they need to be unbiased because the job is simply to report on what happened during the game. But if it's a column or something then I think it's fine for there to be a certain level of bias because it's an opinion piece so they're allowed to draw their own conclusions, which the reader can either agree or disagree with. And that's sort of self-policing because if they constantly offer ridiculous opinions that are so biased that it makes it a pointless exercise, then fewer people will read it.

Personally I think it's better when journos openly admit to who they support rather than try to keep it a secret though.

First it was the Sun. now it’s the Wind.
Watch out Rain, you’re next.
After blaming the sunshine and the moonlight, surely next on the list of Klopp's excuses will be to blame the good times and the boogie?

Its not just there support of there own team, tbh that's fine Imho that's something I think most of us would agree is very hard to anul. What does bug me is when there blatant hatred of another club rears its head.. Martin Samuel and his hatred for us is a perfect example.

BBC achieving the impossible and managing to crawl even further up Liverpool's bottom, while at the same point completely missing the irony of their fawning confusion...

Intro:

"They play fantastic attacking football.

They have great players.

They have a wonderfully charismatic and entertaining manager."

FFS. ?

What a ridiculous article.

For what it's worth, I'd much rather City win the title than Liverpool. Everything City win means nothing to me because they're just cheated their way to victory so it doesn't bother me. If City fans try and gloat about winning something I can just laugh it off because they're a plastic husk of the old club and I'd honestly rather win nothing than be what Man City have become. It's water off a duck's back to me if they want to gloat about it and pretend that it's a great achievement.

Liverpool on the other hand are the most self-entitled whiney ****s in the entire league and their irritating fans coupled with the inevitable media wankfest will be absolutely unbearable if they do win the league finally. I mean the wankfest has been bad enough over the years even when they were finishing 7th and 8th in the league so I can't even begin to imagine what it'll be like if they actually win. Especially when you look at just how many of the regular pundits on TV/radio are ex-Liverpool. It's a proper old-boys club for ex-Liverpool players.

A bit of pressure on them to win today for the first real time in the league this season.

Let’s see how they do, hopefully Murray et al at Brighton are up for it.

If they’re going to win can it just be some 1-0 or 2-1 or sumin. Need to start seeing some weaknesses. If they smash this with another 3-4 goal win I’ll start to worry and, tbf, that’ll be impressive.

If Brighton can just get to HT and be level I think they could do it. I think they have UTD away next and while they’re doing well and in all likelihood are pretty safe they don’t want to be losing the next 2 with no points and slip down closer to the relegation spots.

Brighton will be well in the game until Liverpool score through a massive deflection or defensive cock up. Then Liverpool will go on to score 4. Same thing happened with Bournemouth...

Brighton are well drilled and have a decent team, but if Liverpool turn up they will win by a couple of clear goals. Hopefully Brighton really get stuck in to them and put the pressure on.

Mohammed Faller!!

NO Liverpool fan can question Kane or Alli now. Refs are on their Leicester Mark II crusade.

I have to confess something - maybe I've been fortunate, but I've not met any obnoxious Liverpool fans. I've known a few in my time and I've always felt them to be pretty genuine. I've got a Twitter friend who's a Liverpool supporter and he's never been a prick. When we beat them last season, he was dignified in defeat and when they beat us this season, he was magnanimous in victory. He commiserated with me.

Am I alone?

I have to confess something else as well...

...

I quite like Jurgen Klopp.

Sorry, chaps.
