I know...any other manager is disrespecting the competition. Not Klopp, he's got his eyes on the bigger prize so its ok.

To be fair to Klopp, a lot us would have expected Pochettino to do the same thing under the circumstances. They have a fantastic chance of winning the league and they are still in the Champions League, a competition they reached the final of last season. At this early stage of the competition the F.A. Cup will have barely factored in their list of priorities. It could of course badly backfire on them in a few weeks time if they go out for the Champions League and lose their lead in the table. As things stand though I think it's hard to criticise him for saving his key players for bigger challenges ahead.

If Liverpool are deliberately not going all out to win a particular trophy then they selectively bottling it.
Their fans who travelled through all that wind to get to the game also deserved a better deal, paying good moolah
only to see a shadow team who were trying their best but not up to the job, that's not right in my opinion.

I agree with you, and in most cases you need to do what you can to protect your squad and prioritise. Poch certainly has done that in the past (Europa vs Dortmund).
However I think most people have a gripe with the double standards and hypocrisy because when Poch did it he got pelters from some in the media and opposition fans (notably Liverpool fans), even though at the time we clearly didn't have the squad to compete on all fronts and were actually pushing for the title too. Not too mention that we are continuously dismissed for having no depth yet need to win one of these trophies, whereas Liverpool (who I don't think have better depth than us, just better luck with injuries) are right to prioritise yet have the depth to handle it apparently.
