Saw some posts on rawk meltdown suggesting that Liverpool held the fekir transfer story back so as not to distract from kenny getting knighted.
Can someone explain to me how Liverpool are able to abide by FFP regulations? Considering their wages to turnover ratio was the highest in the league (2017 I think) and they are not been bankrolled, how are they able to continue spending 50m+ on players - no doubt paying off millions to agents and offering high salaries???
Are they at a risk? For example, if they failed to reach CL next season would it highly effect them or not?
Hadn't @Flynn already told us that? That's from RAWK Meltdown I believe.
Cause they also sell players. They have a high wages to turnover ratio but it is well under their turnover.
Failing to get cl next year will effect them but they wont have to sell, just as we wouldn't. Also remember ffp is rolling over 3 years. You could make a huge loss one year but make it up in the other 2.
They were investigated 3-4 years ago but I think some creative accounting explained a lot of it away.
Not 100% sure, don't bite me.

I saw the Fekir was going to be on £170k per week.
Bill Shankly, OBE was obviously Knighted.
Genuine question as I don't really follow all that royal bollocks, but does an OBE count as being knighted? My understanding was that when you were knighted you then became "Sir" e.g. Sir Alex Ferguson and OBE was just an honour.

That makes sense but surely they re-spend that money on incomings and extra salaries, therefore it cancels it out?Cause they also sell players. They have a high wages to turnover ratio but it is well under their turnover.

If that's the case they seem to be very dependant on sales?
