I remember the excitement of the Magnificent Seven and I remember threads praising Liverpool's mass business last summer. Both overhauls didn't bring immediate improvement.
I guess the difference this time is Liverpool have done it without losing a star player. At least so far, they could be losing Sterling though he is not at the same level of ability or importance to the club as Bale and Suarez were.
Ings, Milner and Clyne will be solid signings and I'm not going to guess at Firmino. They were at the same place I had them before any signings, our direct rivals at a similar level.
