'FECK 'EM'

I can't even get a sensible conversation out of most of them in my local. Had a crack at one a few months back when he suggested we were bottling it.

Politely reminded him :sneaky::sneaky: that Liverpool have been top of the prem three seperate times at Christmas and failed to win the league.

He argued it was only twice, I wasn't budging, so ripped into him a bit (Christmas spirit (y))...even the 'Liverpool Echo' report it as three. How ironic.

When ( its almost inevitable) these victims win the league

The three most culpable are Hugo Lloris Jordan Pickford and Rihad Mahrez

I feel absolutely sick
There's a few more that you can add to that list. Vorm, Speroni and Rico all gifted them match winning goals too.

Media do seem to want them to win it. Worse bias than Manchester United (just)

It's great for clicks either way. They have a lot of supporters who will love to read/listen to the "Liverpool is an amazing club and are finally back winning the league"-articles. It's equally good for clicks with the "Liverpool fail in title chase" because of all other fans who love to hear about them failing.

I don’t really consider what Liverpool are doing as buying success. Not in the dirty sense anyway. It’s their money, it’s not coming from a sugar daddy. It’s nothing that any of the other bigger clubs couldn’t do without risking their stability.

What City and Chelsea do is buying success.
Henry/FSG have been remarkably similar to Levy/ENIC in the way they run their club. They have much more money to play with though simply by virtue of it being Liverpool.

Precisely, they started at a higher level than Levy. What were we, 13th, 14th in the league, grinding out 1-0 wins under George Graham when they bought us?

Oh no... you just wait until Man U are back on top. The arse licking Man Utd recieved in the 90's was unholy and unashamed... to the point where Sky actually tried to buy them.

Nah I've always found the pundits/media to be far more up Liverpool's arse than Man Utd's. Seemed for years like every pundit on TV was just some other bloke from Liverpool's 80s sides.

Yes of course.....them and Man U are very, very well supported teams. Win or lose anything about them attracts clicks....*barf*

Yup, genuinely disgusting from Sky back then. Man U back on top? They're still very wealthy but don't see them being properly up there in the short term future...City and Liverpool miles ahead of them on every level apart from sponsorships in Asia perhaps.

I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ‘til the end of the night
He’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be strong
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight

Salah should have been sent off for an over the top challenge and TAA got away with a much more blatant handball for a penalty.

Also I haven't seen anyone mention that the PL had them playing last Friday while we played on a Sunday before a previous CL game. Different rules for different clubs

Just watching Klopp on SSN's post match interview , he's got more clothing on than Scott did on his expedition to the North Pole.

Maybe he's wearing his full wardrobe in case he's burgled while he's out.
