True, but I must say I prefer their £43,795,863 spent on agents in return for Alisson, Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri, over our £11,141,255 spent on agents fees in return for literally no one.

I'm not so sure, they may all come good and I may change my mind. But Keita so far has been poor, I was expecting him to really hit the ground running. Shaqiri is a squad filler nothing more. I know pool have the best defensive record but Allison has been extremely lucky, he had 4 mistakes against us that he got away with and I've seen him get lucky in other games too, his luck has to run out at some point. Fabinho's form has been up and down.

Come on mate, all four players have improved their squad significantly. Keita has been underwhelming, but shows promise. Shaqiri was a cheap punt, and was never meant to be anything more than a squad player, but he's been decent when called upon. Alisson and Fabinho both look excellent signings to my eyes. I know that either would immediately improve our first xi.

Alisson has been brilliant if you compare him to what they had before that. He isn't quite DDG level or Ederson for me. But he isn't far behind them, just needs to cut out the mistakes. Fabinho is quality, probably not started as much as I thought he would but I think next season he will be a key player in that midfield. He's better than Henderson and Milner....

Keita has been awful, not adjusted to the league at all and is probably the most disappointing transfer, was quite excited to see him come to the premier league. Shaqiri is ok, a squad player, not really sure he can be judged as a bad buy, he has stepped up a couple times when called upon.

They have bought well and strengthened the squad, something which frustrates me, we've been told we can't improve our first xi but fine, improve our bench then?

Don't get me wrong, I think those players have improved their squad, but was that hard? They were weak at keeper and CM so not really hard to improve.

Allison has been more lucky than good this season the game against us is a prime example sliced clearances, pushed a shot right into Eriksen's path that was blocked, the collision with Milner (?) And I've seen him make those same mistakes throughout the season. On another day 2 of those could have been goals and we'd be talking about how he cost them the game

I don’t really consider what Liverpool are doing as buying success. Not in the dirty sense anyway. It’s their money, it’s not coming from a sugar daddy. It’s nothing that any of the other bigger clubs couldn’t do without risking their stability.

What City and Chelsea do is buying success.

Arguably.

It's the bleating of their holier than thou fanbase that does for me.

And I'm just jealous how far ahead of us they are at this current moment.

It was the flag in the crowd tonight that made me reach for the sick bowl which read ‘Liverpool fc European Royalty’....

There was an article on BBC Football site today that pretty much illustrates what a bunch of entitled gits their fans are.

When ( its almost inevitable) these victims win the league

The three most culpable are Hugo Lloris Jordan Pickford and Rihad Mahrez

I feel absolutely sick
