Depending on who they bring in (and I'm stumped to think of who they could and expect results right now) I'm fancying there might be a bit of an exodus from Stamford Bridge in the summer, entirely with the blessing of the owner, and a huge pot handed to the new man to rebuild.

Chelsea will always have a massive turnover of managers whilst Roman is owner. Saying that, they've won a fair few trophies even without what one would call a 'project'.

This is the problem when you build a club on the process of hiring mercenaries.

They’ve had success since Abramovichs takeover of course they have, Champions league winners, premier league winners and numerous other trophies, hard to knock it. However equally they have won those trophies by spending an absolute shedload. The problem they have given themselves now is he players run the club, games like today, if they do t want to play for a manger anymore they just down tools and wait for him to be sacked. Sarri will go after today, as for who comes in next it depends who wants a multi million pound payout for at most, a couple of seasons work.

When they sacked Scolari mid way through the season they were third in the league. They’ve fallen a long way since then in terms of their prestige in the league.

I actually think Sarri will last the season. Why bring in a manager with a set in stone footballing philosophy if you’re not going to give him the time to implement it?
