Everyone knows who is our best keeper. We want to win the cup, we put out our best team. I can't see any controversy here. Even if you want to throw out some shit about who "deserves" whatever, I would suppose that Hugo "deserves" more than anyone to have a chance to win something, for all the mediocrity he's put up with and given his best week after week with no caveats

What if we win with Vorm in goal?

Fair question to raise, and of course I'd be delighted to see us win the Cup under any circumstances. But I would still be highly critical of the decision after the match whatever the result: this is our biggest game for several years and I would take a very dim view of any manager who didn't treat it as such by playing our very best team, regardless of what the outcome is.

For what it's worth I'm sure Pochettino will do the right thing and play Hugo, but I wanted to plant a flag in the ground now so that if Poch suffered a fit of madness and played Vorm then nobody could accuse me of knee-jerking if I subsequently threw a rage.
