Like the rest of the team he is moving in the right direction now. We need to keep building on each result.

i know its easy for armchair supporters to make observations but for what its worth, it looks to me like he desperately needs to work on his right peg, the way that Bale did. It added a lot to Bales game not just in terms of shooting options but also in making it hard to defend against.
Anyway, we need to persevere with youg talent like Erik and I for one think he will come good.

Been saying this for weeks now. He's too left footed. That's why he cuts into the middle so often. To be honest it's not an easy thing to strengthen a weaker foot, but weak foot or no, a player's mobility should not be limited by it.

This game has shown that he can get the ball to the opponents by-line. Yes it may just be Burnley but they've been a nuisance to nearly everyone - just ask the special one. If he can do it against them, he should be aiming to do it consistently going forward.
