Robbie Keane and his wife, Claudine, are actively involved behind the Irish team at the Special Olympics which is on at the moment In L.A.
For several years now Robbie has been promoting, fund-raising and generally acting as the PR face of the Irish Special Olympics team, all on a voluntary basis.
He has got to know all the athletes and his presence with them at the games means a lot to them.
Robbie was on Irish television this evening, speaking from the games, so perhaps he has been allowed time off tonight's friendly for this noble purpose.
