Well I'll be honest and say that finishing ahead of the scum would be like winning a trophy. However, we need to be realistic because at the end of the season we'll be up there with a number of clubs probably quite close together. I fear Chelski have got enough of a gap so like the last few years there will only be a few points between us, the scum and the Manchester clubs. He's right that we do tend to obsess about it and we should just get as many points as we can.

On one hand, they really aren't important enough to give a second thought. On the other hand, their fans THINK they are that important, and for that alone it would be quite OK to finish above them.
