Admittedly I'm more than a bit biased but I don't see why players would be as keen to go this year as in previous years. I can't say I agreed with Modric, Bale or Berbatov (even Judas although I don't like to think of him), but they could argue the team wasn't competing with the best in the league. Now we are, if Levy can pay everyone enough to stay, and it is going to cost us to keep a squad this good together, then there's no longer the old excuse.
