Tanganga looks very comfortable passing with both feet and has done well so far. Showed some nice energy to intercept some passes into Emre Can. Think Poch can make him into a really solid defender.

Very good first half from us against a strong Juve team. We’re pressing very well. Tanganga looks like he’s played with Toby for years, Georgiou not afraid to go forward, KWP solid, Skipp & Winks bossing midfield, Parrott pressing well & aggressively

Now I want to see Tanguy ?

Actually really enjoyed that first half. Winks was/is superb. Looking forward to seeing him progress next to Tanguy.

Playing well but I’m not convinced with the formation would prefer more width

Me: It's only a 45 minutes of our first pre-season game. Don't get too excited.

Not heard of Tanganga, any youth experts have a strong opinion?

Think all 11 players did themselves a real favour with that half.

Juve only flew in yesterday, so while we have looked good, you have to factor in jet lag and the like for why Juve look so sluggish.

I know it's only 45 mins against a team way behind us in their pre-season fitness work, but Parrott looks like he should be a first team squad member this year, taking Llorente's role as back up CF.

I think you are getting ahead of yourself. Let's see the rest of pre-season first.

Parrott looks like he could easily be the second striker, Skipp could push Winks as he is showing great industry,Georgiou looks like a really good player

Please God, can you keep Lamela fit for a whole season please.

He's not the best player in our team, let alone the league, but there is just something about how he plays that i always enjoy.

Young lads doing very well. Parrott could have a goal and an assist with a bit of luck. Making great runs and linking the play very well up front though the pace of it has caught him on occasion.

Juve will bring out the big guns for the 2nd half though.

I’d go as far as saying that we don’t need to bring Llorente back the way that Parrott is playing. With Son and Moura in the squad there will be plenty of cover for Kane. That’s how impressed I am after 45 minutes in a friendly!

Fantastic effort. You can clearly see which team focused on conditioning so far.

I thought Skipp played really well. All the youth acquitted themselves well. Toby looked strong leading the back line.

Forgot the game was on and missed the whole first half. How did the kids look?
