The top two teams in Italy are both keen on signing Tottenham’s Kieran Trippier this summer, as Juventus join Napoli in the race for his signature.

Weird. We would historically have only sold our best players to those kinds of clubs. Our unwanted players would have been loaned to West Ham then released on a free.

He would suit Italian cattenaccio very well I think. But how many Northern lads like him do well in more continental culturally? I may be doing him a disservice but I'd be unsure how well he'd settle there.
