If Dembele is going I wish we would just bring him back and put him around the first team squad.

Couple of good performances and his career at Spurs could be revitalised.
He would be behind Skipp in picking order. He is 22 and he can't be regular starter in championship second year in a row. Yes, I know, Kane also had not succesfull loans but at 22 he was banging goals in Premier League. Maybe he will become regular in Championship or even PL but imo cant see it doing it in Spurs.

Time to accept his time is up with Spurs and wish him all the best. Its happened to hundreds of young lads, I'm struggling to think of one we released who went on to become a top player, possibly Crouchy but he came back anyway.

Beckham? Not really released though.

I’d rather we brought him back and got him involved with the 1st team.

I think both loan clubs have been terrible choices for his development and he would develop more back here.

Definitely a player in there and with our limited options in cm, Poch should be looking to improve Josh and give him a chance.

He’s a million times the player that Marsh is and it’s worrying that the club don’t see this.

How much have you seen of Marsh to be able.to make that comparison?

Crouch wasn't released. Hoddle sold him for 7 thousand pounds.

Has to be recalled, regardless of anything else.

Bruce clearly didn't fancy him/know what to do with him, doubt that is going to change. Even if its just to send him somewhere else (I'd love to see him get involved in our squad but even I'm coming round to the notion that he hasn't got a Spurs career anymore) got to get him back before Bruce turns up.

I really don't get why posters are so quick to be done with Onomah and label his development as some sort of failure. What do you get from taking this point of view? We've literally seen Sissoko, a player that was labeled useless and booed almost every time he touched the ball, go from zero to hero within a year. Onomah is a talented player, who's had the misfortune of getting injured at the worst times and being sent to clubs that really don't play good football but have forced him to grow up and develop other parts of his game which were lacking. So because Onomah's loans haven't gone the way some posters think they should have, we should sell and be done with him as there's no way he could come back better from those loan experiences to challenge for a spot in our team?

It's called the harsh reality of professional sport, Tottenham have become a top tier club, competition for places is fierce. I have nothing against Josh at all and wish him well but on all evidence he's never going to be a regular at Spurs. He'll be one of the lucky few that makes a great living from playing football and for that he should be grateful.

But then people, including me, didn't see anything in Sissoko the last 2 seasons either. Who could tell how different he would be this season? Just maybe something will click with Josh and he'll come good.
To be fair lots were writing off Harry Kane after his loans and saying similar to your retort about JO.
I'll just wait and see as I thought JO bossed the world cup final that England youngsters won last summer.

Sissoko made his debut for France aged 20, for whatever reason he faded for a while.

As I've said repeatedly I wish Josh all the best, thus far there is nothing to suggest he has what it takes as a top 4 player.

Nope don't remember Kane being being shit.

And nope with regard Bale. Never wanted him gone. Could see he was a baller right from his man u debut.

I was at OT when Bale made his debut and saw him make one of those runs, it was obvious then he was a winger not a FB.

Pochettino was in the paper and quoted last week about the youth system. He explained that when he first started, you'd need to be graded a 7.5 to get a chance. He said now, you must be an 8 or even an 8.5. I don't know if that's an internal grading system or of he was just trying to say that the standard to break through is now a lot tougher. Josh is a talent no doubt, but so is any player in pro football. Maybe, like hundreds of other pro players he's not shown what the coaches are looking for to get a top spot in a champ league team?

Things change, he may well still make it at Tottenham bit the evidence suggests, to me, that he won't.

A lot of people forget that Redknapp was on the verge of selling bale to forest before we every left sided player we had got injured. The rest is history

You might be right
But he needs to be in and around
the squad for a while
under Pochettino's critical gaze
being assessed for what
he can offer Spurs
before a final judgement is made.
