He really isn't. Swings wildly from having no composure on the ball at all or overplaying out of defence and making a massive fuck up whenever I have seen him play.
Man Utd are going through changes. I expect that the summer will see even more signings. With that in mind, I would expect to see quite a few outgoings. I do like Smalling - as a centre back - but there will be other 'bargains' out there. The question now would be would Man Utd sell to us as direct competitors?
Why would Evans come to Spurs and be a bit part player when he's already that at United? Surely he would want to go to a club and be first choice - Captain even, someone that the buyers would want to build their defence around.
He is a much better player than many give him credit for - he is genuinely two footed and decent on the ball - he has been unlucky with injuries over the last few years.
