Hope he does well in Turkey and comes back to show his true worth but i honestly don't see him playing for us again.

It's a shame a premier league loan was not arranged which would have given him confidence in this league. We know he can score in an "inferior" league.

But any improvement on his confidence would be positive in any case.

So many players struggle in their first season with us but improve thereafter (ie lamela, son and possibly sissoko)

He hasn't been given that chance though

I'd like to see him get some goals and come back to us a better player. If that was the plan a move to Brighton would've made more sense. Good luck Vinny, whatever you end up doing.

I think it's a mental thing. I don't think he really believes he belongs in a top premier league side - or even a mediocre one. You can tell by his facial expressions and body language.
