I'd be all over this as a loan until the summer. Lets us get a closer look at him, allows Poch time to see if he thinks he can work with him, with a view to include as part of the Eriksen transfer. Allows a 6 month transition period too.

If Real are comfortable that he's a talent with a personality that is professional, no reason they wouldn't be open to it as it works for them long term - if they don't then that speaks volumes to the player.

We have a great relationship with Real (by that I mean we sell them our best) can't see why it wouldn't be good business all round.

Which is why they would take Eriksen from us and then make us pay extra for Rodriguez.

He only has 1 year more than Eriksen, Eriksen is a better player and more integral to us than James is to Real (he hasnt even been there for 18 month's). Where our position is fairly weak, their's isn't much better.

Levy is already Perez's bitch though.

can't see any value in this, even if it were true. may as well swap kane for some other washed up throwaway whilst we're at it......

Big fee for Modric, world record fee for Bale. Unfortunately due to player power and the size of the clubs in question, they were always going and he got maximum return for them.

Levy is a lot of things, but certainly not anyone's bitch.

Don’t see this one having much legs tbh. A decent player, but realistically one who had his reputation massively enhanced by an admittedly brilliant 2014 World Cup. Hadn’t pulled up any trees before that and hasn’t had to since.

I don't think it is a case of swapping Eriksen for James or the status quo, James or not, Eriksen will go if that is what he wants so getting James would be a bonus, or not I suppose depending on your opinion.

Could be a player Poch gets back to his best. I wouldn't include any deal for Eriksen with it though. Isco would be a far more suitable one IF Eriksen were to leave. If there's a good deal for him then he adds another creative central midfielder to the mix. He'll certainly add competition for the likes of Eriksen and Winks.

Here's my agreement with Real: Eriksen for James now on loan with option to buy plus Isco in the summer.

Here's my other agreement with Real: :finger:

It's not really like us to sign anyone based on injuries but with the Alli injury we really could do with someone likes James coming in now. We need to replace Dembele anyway.

he's averaged about 9 goals and 10 assists over the last 4 years in the domestic leagues getting fewer games than our current stars. he's not the superstar he was predicted to be but he's a very good player.
