Sorry but where exactly does it say we will sign him? Also don't believe stuff from Twitter.

Having watched him live a few times this season, I would be all for this. Great technique, always looking forward and is very determined. Would be a great addition to the squad.

If you've got a spare 10 minutes, watch his development over a decade - from the age of 7 onwards...

Love stuff like this.

me too. looks to have great awareness which he'll need when players start taking turns kicking the shite out of him. can make a gap though and always looking offensively. remember thinking he was a quality prospect the first time we were linked, hope it's more serious now. Think he'd do well here.

How cool is it that he got his own spot in the tiny backyard with a few feet of grass to play around with :D

even as a kid, his weak foot was better than some PL players. Crazy.

A couple of quotes from the Coventry Telegraph when he signed his first professional contract.

The former Coundon Castle pupil has grown up supporting the Sky Blues and says its a dream come true to play for his hometown club.

Maddison grew up two minutes from the Alan Higgs Centre in Allard Way, joining the pre-Academy while still at Richard Lee Primary School before joining the full Academy at nine.

He said after signing his contract in November: “I’ve grown up supporting the club, I remember going to block 33 at the Ricoh as a fan watching the players and I’m nearly at that stage myself."

“My idol is Christiano Ronaldo; I always looked up to him because when I was younger I was more of a Man United fan – my first memory was them beating Bayern Munich and my dad running around the table with me.
