According to 'Wickapedia' he plays at R.B.....so, cover for Walker then? Sell on Naughton I suppose.
If Spurs get Davies at L.B. then get Benny back for cover there?

Zeki Fryers should be moved to CB.
My only problem with Zeki at CB is his height...
There are some very big strikers out there and we would end up being even more punished on setpieces / crosses than we are already are

You could argue though that the game is moving away from crosses as all the top strikers seem to get smaller and smaller!! Personally i'm sitting on my hands re Zeki as i haven't seen much to be either impressed or worried about him as yet. As for the forrest lad i know nothing about him other than we had some inventive cryptics about him a few windows back

Tbh you may be right regarding the strikers..
But look at bony , Lukaku , heck even all the strikers at the World Cup that's being touted and doing well.. None are under 6ft ... Zeki is is 5"11 I think, and whilst height doesn't mean your definitely going to win an Ariel duel or going to get that vital touch from the ball being whipped into the box it definitely helps. And the epl I don't think will ever become non physical, crosses / set pieces will always be a part of the game. Hell look at eriksens sexy crosses last season.

And yeah regarding JL I've only ever watched a few games with him in. He's looked decent from what I remember..
Other than that FM... And that's not a guide as to how players will actually turn out. Although I do always look to it whenever we are mentioned / linked to a player..

How can any of you suggest a lack of height would hamper a centre half, did none of you watch Chris Perry?

Your suggesting Zeki is as good as perry ?
But for the record I only moved over to England and knew about tottenham and watched them for the first time in 2002-3 * grandad is tottenham born and bred and took me to my first game * when he had that slipped disk and then went out on loan... So sadly I didn't actually get to see him play.

I can't remember us conceding a headed goal when Perry played.

Actually I can, he was shit, so was Ben Thatcher, those were dark days, when we used to buy Wimbledon players.
