Think there was no loan in place (according to a few ITKs and Leeds journos) but something changed over the weekend which coincides with the announcement apparently being pushed back from Friday to today.

Possibly Bielsa committing to stay at Leeds for another season. There were rumours he might leave during the takeover.

Will he do all preseason training with Leeds or spend some time with Spurs between now and the start of the season?

Not traveling to Australia to face Man United for the pre-season tour and instead will be staying back with part of the squad to work on fitness. Not sure why he wouldn't be selected along with last season's regulars. Would've loved to see him get to play against United.

Players travel for fixtures against Manchester United and Western Sydney Wanderers
Leeds United fly to Perth today to renew old rivalries with Manchester United, before heading to Sydney to face Western Sydney Wanderers.

Head coach Marcelo Bielsa has split his squad in two, with half heading Down Under and half staying back to continue to work on fitness ahead of the new season.

The squad travelling to Australia is:

Kiko Casilla
Kamil Miazek
Barry Douglas
Liam Cooper
Stuart Dallas
Gaetano Berardi
Bryce Hosannah
Clarke Oduor
Adam Forshaw
Pablo Hernandez
Jack Harrison
Kalvin Phillips
Jordan Stevens
Mateusz Bogusz
Kemar Roofe
Patrick Bamford

Bielsa will stay back in the UK until early next week, when he will travel to Perth to be on the bench for the game with Manchester United in Pert

Wow. If he can play in front of that sort of crowd vs. Tadcaster (seriously, who the F are Tadcaster?), he'll be fine in the CL

Lovely finish with his left foot. I really like the look of him

Tadcaster sounds like one of the made up teams in Roy of the Rovers

He looks like he’s grown, quite a big lad. As he puts on muscle the next few seasons he’ll be quite imposing.
