One thing that hasn’t been discussed is that Clarke collapsed and had to be rushed into hospital in February during a match against Middlesbrough. He was given oxygen at pitchside after saying he wasn’t feeling well and the ref stopped play for 10 minutes. He was discharged the same night and was meant to be in good spirits.

As well as Leeds fans saying this affected the end of his season and his performances, it was never disclosed what the issue was, as far as I can tell. Let’s hope it’s nothing that could crop up again. No reason to think it is, but something to consider.

It’s been discussed early in this thread. I posted a video of him playing for their under 23s later that week and he looked ok.

Does anyone that has watched Clarke play think he could be a wide forward that also can play centrally or be developed in that way ?

I’ve not seen him play, but his Wikipedia page says he “can be deployed as a striker.”

I wouldn't be surprised as he gets in the gym and gets stronger if he wasn't deployed in the center at some point. He's got a big frame, just needs to fill out.

The good thing about these youngsters is they'll keep the older players on their toes. It will light a fire under them when they know there's a young hungry talent coming through. We haven't really had that lately with a lot of youngsters out on loan. If we sign Sess and Clarke and keep them around the first team it should bring some new life into the squad.

This has gone quiet... I take it all back, he’s shit!

No seriously, I just hope it’s gone quiet because things are getting tied up.

It’s like being in some mentalised psychological loop where we’re all doomed- us, Levy, Poch, the club- to make our own silly mistakes again and again and again

Yup- precisely- that's me to a tee...

Oh- wait- you were talking about our club. My bad. Carry on...

We’ve probably offered a fiver in monthly instalments over the next 60 years. No idea why Leeds would turn that down.
That's before they see the clause which says all instalments are rounded down, and since each is worth less than 1p we get him on a free transfer.
