Yeah I talked the Samaritan woman into jumping lol
"Hello Samaritans..."
"Hello, yes, I'm feeling depressed at the moment"
"Oh dear, well I am here to listen and to help. There's always a positive in life, and together we can make things better. Now what's troubling you?"
"Well, I'm a Spurs fan you see, and..."
"Oh ffs... *click* *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..."

I’d rather be a Spurs fan than a Bolton fan.

Struggling just to stay solvent right now, fighting relegation, praying for a takeover, this is a club who might not be as big us us, but have spent most of their life as a top flight club and have four FA cups to their name.

That’s depressing.

Just living in Bolton is depressing enough!o_O

Try being a Spurs fan at the moment, while also having a son who plays in an U13 team who, right now are the definition of Spursy. Ploughed through the opposition every week right up until Xmas, now can't buy a decent result.
Yesterday - 15+ shots and failed to score. Opposition had one shot, 5 mins from the end, scored it and stole the 3 points.

to be honest I really wished we would go on a tremendous run,

1, it saves 2 new threads and old 1's resurfacing from the bed wetters

2, it means less posting from the main negative posters, that post twice as much as soon as we lose, yet are pretty quiet while we are winning, unless there are negatives with the wins

I know it was a joke, but I’m not sure posting their number and encouraging people to call it for no reason is particularly wise.

TBH I didn't think anyone would. If I was told to dial I'd Google the number to find out first. Look the thread is a joke and I thought people would treat anything posted on it in that way.

Now I feel bullied, who can I turn to....?

In my opinion you’re one of the good guys, and it wasn’t a pop. Simply a comment on It perhaps being unnecessary. It’s not exactly a punchline.
